The Authors' Association no longer warns against Modernista. In June 2022, both authors and translators were warned against signing agreements with the publishing house, due to what the Authors' Association described as contractual breaches and unethical business practices.
The warning for authors was removed last year and now the warning is also being lifted for translators, writes Dagens Nyheter.
We have had a good dialogue with them. They have done a job and implemented changes and improvements, and then there is no reason to keep this warning, says the Chairman of the Authors' Association, Anja Gatu.
