The American author Francine Pascal has died of cancer, reports BBC.
Pascal has, among other things, made herself known for the youth book series "Twins", which has been published in nearly 30 languages and sold hundreds of millions of copies worldwide. In the series, the reader follows the upbringing of two sisters in a fictional city in the USA. The book series is also the basis for a TV series.
Francine Pascal had a long career as an author and writer that began as early as the 1960s, when she co-wrote the script for the soap opera "The Young Marrieds". She has also, among other things, written the books in the youth series "Fearless".
Francine Pascal passed away in New York on Sunday due to lymphoma. She was 92 years old.
