The author and economist Kenneth Hermele has passed away, confirms the family to Dagens Nyheter.
Hermele was the son of Jewish parents who fled to Sweden before the outbreak of World War II – which also characterized his authorship. His book "A shtetl in Stockholm" was nominated for the August Prize in 2018.
He has also written the books "Not like lambs to the slaughter: Jewish resistance during the Holocaust" and "The wild justice: Jewish revenge after the Holocaust".
Kenneth Hermele became 76 years old.
