According to the newspaper, Roland Weissmann was given only a few days to announce his resignation. The reason is allegations that he sexually harassed a female employee when he started as CEO in 2022.
Weissmann, 57, with 30 years in various roles at ORF, denies the allegations, according to his lawyer and the company. He is resigning immediately so as not to harm the company.
