Where Aung San Suu Kyi will be moved is not known, but a senior source within her now-disbanded NLD party says she will likely be kept in isolation in a residence in the capital Naypyidaw.

80-year-old Aung San Suu Kyi, the 1991 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, has been detained since the junta overthrew her government in the 2021 coup. Earlier in April, her 27-year sentence was shortened by 4.5 years.
