August Sees Rise in Producer Prices Compared to July 2025

Producer prices rose in August compared to July 2025, according to the Statistical Central Bureau's (SCB) producer price index.

Compared to August the previous year, the producer price index fell by 0.7 percent.

SCB writes that the main contribution to the increase in the domestic market was higher prices for electricity and transmission and distribution services regarding electric power.
