For Volvo XC60 – number one on the list of models that were registered in August – it was a boost of 68 percent in year-on-year terms to 858 newly registered cars in August. Volvo Cars also takes second place in the most registered cars with Volvo EX/XC40.
For Tesla, it looks much darker. Tesla Model Y plummets by 87 percent in year-on-year terms to 141 registrations in August, while Tesla Model 3 plummets 73 percent to 67 registrations and Tesla Model X and Model S only note 1 registration each.
The report also shows that the bus market is growing in year-on-year terms, while light trucks are decreasing for the sixteenth month in a row, according to Mobility Sweden's monthly figures.
The share of rechargeable cars amounted to 59 percent of new registrations in August.
Heavy truck registrations increase by 2.7 percent in August compared to last year and amounted to 378 vehicles, according to Mobility Sweden.
