Under the Baltic Sea Festival, the audience gets to conduct the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in real-time – with the help of AI.

Every gesture in the audience will affect how the orchestra plays, with the help of AI that has been trained on conductor movements. The experience takes place in the Technical Museum's so-called visualization dome, where the music surrounds the audience in 360 degrees.

Visitors will also be able to create their own digital conductor.

"In the meeting with art and creativity, we open up paths into technology and science for a new audience", says Fanny S Aupeix, creative director at the Technical Museum, in a press release.

Behind the project are KTH, Ivar Studios and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
