The American actress Aubrey Plaza has spoken out for the first time since her husband Jeff Baena's sudden death, writes Deadline. 47-year-old Baena was found dead on January 3, after taking his own life.
"This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful for all who have offered their support", say both Baena's and Plaza's families in a joint statement, where they also ask people to respect their privacy during this time.
Baena made his directorial debut with "Life after Beth", where Aubrey Plaza played one of the roles, and the couple also worked together on the film "The Little Hours". They got married in 2021, after ten years together.
