29 Russian missiles and nearly 400 drones were launched toward Ukraine ahead of today's peace talks in Switzerland. Ukraine's foreign minister accuses Russia of trying to derail the peace process.

About ten civilians have been injured and tens of thousands are without power after last night's Russian attacks, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X.

The attacks took place hours before Russian, Ukrainian and American negotiators were due to meet in Switzerland to try to reach an end to the war.

"This is how much Russia ignores peace efforts: a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine just before the next round of talks in Geneva. The main targets - energy and civilian infrastructure," wrote Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha on X.

Ukraine has also gone on the offensive. In the Russian city of Krasnodar, near the Black Sea, an oil refinery was set on fire last night, according to The Kyiv Independent.
