Two ships have been damaged in attacks near the Huthi-controlled port city of Hodeida in Yemen.
One of them was damaged northwest of the city.
"The ship was attacked by a drone. The vessel has sustained damage. All crew members are reported to be safe", announces the British trade organization UKMTO.
Earlier, reports emerged that a sea drone had hit a ship off Hodeida and damaged a ballast tank. The ship had also reported several close calls earlier in the day, which was interpreted as a threat.
Initially, no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the Huthi movement has attacked over 80 ships in the Red Sea since the war began in October last year, in "solidarity with the inhabitants of Gaza" according to the movement's statements.
