The alarm about the attack on a restaurant on Nobelvägen came shortly after 05:00.

The entrance door has been smashed by some kind of object. From what I've been told, it didn't burn in the premises, it's more like something that lay and smoldered, says Jerker Olsson, duty officer at the police.

A few hours earlier, at least one window belonging to a grocery store was smashed and a smaller fire broke out. The case is classified as arson.

It's not something explosive that's been thrown, but rather a flammable liquid, says Jerker Olsson.

Both incidents are classified as arson and no suspects have been arrested.

However, two 18-year-olds have been arrested for a suspected attempt at aggravated arson in Hyllie, Malmö, writes the police on their website.

Through surveillance cameras, personnel in the police's camera surveillance center could see how two people tried to smash a window in the restaurant. They failed and left the scene.

Later, a car with two people whose descriptions matched the incident in Hyllie was stopped. In their vehicle, finds were made that the police suspect are related to the crime.
