Several people have been injured and one has died in an attack in Haifa in northwestern Israel. The perpetrator was shot dead on the spot, according to Haaretz.
The perpetrator, according to the police an Israeli citizen, is said to have attacked people with a knife and injured a handful of people. The incident occurred at a bus station next to a shopping center on Monday morning.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sends condolences to the affected and their relatives, according to The Times of Israel.
