A woman in her 60s is seriously injured. Her condition is stable, Region Östergötland reports. The other woman, who is in her 20s, is slightly injured.
The driver, a man in his 80s, was also taken to hospital for a check-up. He was uninjured, according to the region.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of several crimes, the police announced early this evening. He is suspected of reckless driving, drunk driving and causing bodily harm.
