One is a woman in her 20s; her condition is unclear. The other is a woman in her 60s; her condition is stable, says Martina Gradian, a police spokesperson.
The driver, a man in his 80s, was also taken to hospital. Police are investigating the theory that a medical condition was behind the collision.
The driver is not in custody at this time, Gradian says.
