About a dozen people are reported to have been injured and several fires have broken out after Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow, according to local authorities. Most of them were shot down, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claims on Telegram.
In the Russian region of Belgorod, five people were killed when a passenger bus was hit by a Ukrainian drone, the region's governor, Aleksandr Shuvayev, wrote on Telegram.
The attack was in response to Russian airstrikes, which included cruise missiles hitting a five-story building and a nine-story building in Zaporizhia on Sunday night. At least two people were killed in the attacks. At least 42 others were injured, including eight children, The Kyiv Independent reports.
The previous night, the Ukrainian capital Kyiv was subjected to a massive attack with around 45 missiles and even more drones. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has described the missile attack as the largest so far during the war.
