Russia continues to attack civilian areas in Ukraine, which has a serious shortage of anti-aircraft missiles for the American-made Patriot systems - the only air defense system in the country's arsenal that can shoot down ballistic missiles.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is appealing on X to other countries to send more ammunition, especially the United States, whose supplies have decreased due to the war with Iran.
“We definitely need more protection for our people,” Zelenskyy writes.
Meanwhile, six people were injured in a fire at the Russian Ilsky oil refinery in the southern Krasnodar region during a Ukrainian attack on Saturday night. The fire broke out after debris from a drone fell, local authorities said.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region, more than 800 kilometers inside Russian territory, was also attacked.
