"A total of 43 drones were shot down. Unfortunately, there have been fatalities," writes Crimea's Russian-appointed governor Mikhail Razvozhayev on Telegram.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Ukraine is rising after Saturday's widespread attacks on several cities. Ten people have been confirmed dead and 67 injured, reports the Kyiv Independent.
According to the newspaper, Russia launched at least 47 missiles and 619 drones at cities across Ukraine in connection with Saturday's attacks. The air defense says it shot down 580 of the drones and 30 of the missiles.
