The incident occurred on Friday afternoon, local time, in a shipyard area. Approximately 50 minutes after the fire department was alerted to a fire at the scene, a large explosion occurred.
Over 200 people from emergency services worked on the incident that evening. It is still unclear what caused the explosion.
The area is home to several businesses, including a coffee roastery and a warehouse. The shipyard area was previously owned by a company that built ships for the US Navy during World War II.
