The accident happened early Wednesday morning in the small town of Chalacollo, which is located around 240 kilometers south of the capital, La Paz.
Among the dead is a newborn baby.
The incident is being investigated. In Bolivia, around 1,400 people die on the roads every year, largely due to driver errors and technical failures.
