Typhoon Dujuan left the greater Tokyo area early Tuesday and moved further out over the Pacific Ocean.
Authorities were then able to lift warnings issued for torrential rain and landslides - and found that more than 460 buildings had been damaged. In addition, search efforts are underway for six missing people.
Due to Dujuan, the Asian Games, a major video game fair held in Japan this year, was forced to end early.
