Russian drones have hit a shopping mall in Sumy, Ukraine's National Police writes on Telegram.
Two people have been killed and more than 20 people have been injured or traumatised, including several children.
Attacks are also reported from at least four smaller communities in the region. Police put the total death toll at five.
