Around 40 people are feared dead in a ferry accident in the southern Philippines.
The Coast Guard is searching for missing people and has so far found the remains of 18 people. Another 24 are still missing.
The ferry, which was carrying about 350 people when it sank, had left a port on the southern coast of Mindanao and was heading to an island in Sulu province. It was a three-story, 44-meter-long boat.
Passengers who survived have testified to rough seas with high waves at the time of the accident, according to the Coast Guard.
