Intense rain and storms have killed at least 56 people in India's most populous state of Uttar Pradesh, a state disaster management agency said.
More than 1,000 houses have been destroyed by the rain.
According to a statement from the country's weather authority, 66.5 millimetres of rain fell between Friday and Sunday.
