Several dozen Palestinians have died in Israeli attacks on war-torn Gaza in the past few hours.
AFP writes that 44 people died during Thursday, referring to the civil defense of the area.
In parallel, the Israeli Haaretz writes that 62 people were killed and 184 people were injured in Gaza in the past 24 hours. The figures come from health authorities there and do not include hospital reports from northern Gaza.
According to the authorities, who do not distinguish between civilian and military fatalities, over 54,000 lives have been lost since the war broke out after the terrorist-stamped Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023. Since Israel unilaterally broke a ceasefire with Hamas on March 18, it is reported that over 3,800 people have been killed in Gaza.
