Around 50 people have been killed in attacks on Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to representatives of the Indonesian hospital, AP reports.
In Jabalia, rows of small bodies wrapped in sheets can be seen in pictures. Desperate family members are saying goodbye to the children, gently stroking their shattered, bloody cheeks. In other images, rescue workers and civilians are digging through the rubble with their bare hands, searching for more bodies.
Israel has not commented on the attacks, which according to Middle Eastern media were directed at five multi-story buildings full of civilians.
The Hamas-controlled Gaza civil defense reports that at least 70 people have been killed in Gaza since early Wednesday. Another 125 people have been injured, writes Haaretz.
Israel will soon enter Gaza "with full force", claimed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
