At least 48 people have been killed in attacks on Jabalia in northern Gaza, according to representatives of the Indonesian hospital, AP reports.
In images taken in Jabalia, rows of small bodies wrapped in sheets can be seen. Desperate family members are saying goodbye to the children, gently stroking their shattered, bloody cheeks. In other images, civilians and rescue workers digging through the debris with their bare hands, looking for more corpses.
Israel has not commented on the attacks, which according to Middle Eastern media were directed at five multi-story buildings full of civilians.
Israel will soon enter Gaza "with full force", claimed Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday.
