At least 30 people have died in a bus accident in southern Mexico on Saturday, according to the news agency Reuters.
The bus, which was on its way from the tourist resort Cancún to the state of Tabasco, was carrying 44 people. The exact number of fatalities has not yet been confirmed.
The governor of Tabasco, Javier May Rodríguez, writes in a social media post that the accident occurred in the morning, local time, near the city of Escárcega.
