Both Ukraine and Russia have escalated their long-range attacks in recent months.
"Right now, a rescue operation is underway in the Kyiv region after a Russian missile attack," Zelenskyy writes on Telegram.
Ten people were killed in the attack and nearly 100 were injured to varying degrees, according to Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko.
According to Ukrainian media, a military training ground was attacked.
Zelenskyy also writes that five people were killed in a Russian airstrike on Sloviansk.
A Ukrainian attack on the Russian city of Kirov, located more than 100 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, has killed six people. Around 30 people were injured, according to Governor Alexander Sokolov. Zelenskyy claims that the attack was aimed at a company that supplies components for the Russian military's aviation and missile systems.
At least 28 people were also injured in a Russian airstrike on the city of Zaporizhzhia on Thursday. Six of the injured were children, according to the region's governor, Ivan Fedorov.
Reports from Russia indicate that Ukraine has again sent drones against warehouses belonging to e-commerce giant Wildberries overnight. The governor of the surrounding Leningrad region, Aleksandr Drozdenko, says that 59 Ukrainian drones were shot down there and that three people were injured.
Wildberries founder confirms on Telegram that two of the company's warehouses in St. Petersburg, as well as one in the city of Simferopol on the annexed Crimean peninsula, have been attacked.
Russia says it shot down 571 Ukrainian drones overnight on Friday.
