"We were sleeping when we heard noises and people in our neighborhood screaming," says a survivor of the attack that took place on Tuesday night.
"I looked out the window and saw armed men approaching our house," he continues.
Plateau is continuously affected by conflicts between ethnic groups. Both Muslim herders from the Fulani ethnic group and settled Christian farmers claim the land.
The Nigerian police have not commented on the incident.
