At least 19 people have died in floods in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the authorities in the capital province of Kinshasa report to AFP.
Heavy rain early on Saturday flooded several city districts and also caused landslides.
Floods in Kinshasa, which is located on the Congo River, often result in deaths due to inadequate sewer systems and slums that are at risk of being severely affected.
