At least 16 people, including four children, died when a bus returning from a religious festival in northeastern Brazil veered off the road and overturned, authorities said.
Around 60 people were on board the bus when the accident happened on Tuesday. Some were thrown from the bus while others were trapped underneath it.
The accident is being investigated. Seven women, five men and four children lost their lives.
