A Lebanese soldier was killed in Kfar Rumman during a raid on a home, according to Lebanese authorities. Several people in the house, who were members of the soldier's family, were also killed.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun strongly criticized what he said were continued Israeli violations of the current ceasefire. Speaking to delegations from, among others, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the Red Crescent, Aoun said, "The destruction of homes and sacred sites continues despite the ceasefire, and the number of dead and injured is rising every day."
The ceasefire began on April 17.
