The airstrikes targeted southern parts of the country on Thursday. Among the twelve dead were two children and an ambulance paramedic, according to Lebanese health authorities.
Formally, a ceasefire is in place between Israel and Lebanon, but Israel has continued operations against Hezbollah. As of Wednesday, at least four people were killed in Israeli attacks.
Both parties have accused each other of violating the ceasefire in recent weeks.
