AstraZeneca denies merger talks with Bristol Myers Squibb

"There is no deal between Astra Zeneca and Bristol Myers Squibb. There was never any deal to be made, and there are no discussions between the companies," the source told Reuters.

On Monday, Astra Zeneca plunged 9.4 percent on the Stockholm Stock Exchange after the Financial Times published information about a possible merger between the companies.

Today, the stock is recovering slightly, according to Reuters data. At 3:10 p.m., the stock was up almost 3 percent on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
