The savings affect a total of 600 jobs and will save £40 million. The carmaker has faced challenges for several years but was hit hard in 2025 by Trump's tariff policy. For several months, the carmaker limited its deliveries to the US while waiting for a tariff agreement.
"Consumer demand was impacted by escalating geopolitical uncertainty and macroeconomic challenges, the most notable of which was the introduction of increased tariffs in both the US and China," CEO Adrian Hallmark said in a statement.
