After last week's secondary listing in the large-cap segment of the American Nasdaq, chip company SK Hynix appears to be heading for a rough Monday on South Korea's Kospi. The stock is down more than 10 percent, according to CNBC. Samsung Electronics is also down and was 6.0 percent lower at lunchtime. The Kospi as a whole is down 5.1 percent.
In Tokyo, the indices are also falling. The Nikkei 225 is down 1.1 percent, while the Topix is down 0.5 percent.
In China, the Shenzhen stock exchange fell 2.1 percent, while Shanghai lost 1.3 percent. The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng was unchanged.
