Hong Kong's Hang Seng index showed a stronger rise, and was up 1.4 percent after some hours of trading.
Also Shanghai's composite index went upwards, 0.3 percent, while Shenzhen's ditto fell 0.2 percent.
Asian Stock Markets Rise on Week's Last Trading Day
Stock exchanges in Asia are rising during the week's last trading day. The Japanese Nikkei 225 index had at lunchtime risen 0.7 percent, while the broader Topix index increased 0.5.
