Asian stock markets mostly higher, South Korea’s Kospi jumps 4.1 percent

Japan's Nikkei 225 index is up 0.1 percent, while the broader Topix has risen 0.3 percent.

South Korea's Kospi is up 4.1 percent.

Shanghai rises 0.2 percent and Shenzhen climbs 1.0 percent.

The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng, on the other hand, is falling, down 1.1 percent.
