Stock markets in Asia have been very volatile this week, but are showing somewhat smaller changes in Friday trading.
Japan's Nikkei 225 index is unchanged, while the broader Topix falls 0.1 percent.
The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng, on the other hand, is climbing 1.9 percent; Shanghai is up 0.3 percent and Shenzhen is up 0.8 percent.
South Korea's Kospi is down 1.7 percent.
