Asian Stock Markets Decline After Japan's New Government

The stock exchanges are falling in Asia on Wednesday after Japan got a new government.

Investors around Asia are now evaluating trade data from Japan following the country's change of government. On the home front, the Nikkei 225 index had fallen by 0.4 percent at the lunch closing, while the broader Topix had risen by 0.3 percent.

In China, Shanghai is falling by 0.2 percent and Shenzhen even more with 0.6 percent.

In Hong Kong, Hang Seng is following the trend with a minus of 0.3 percent.
