After Monday's rises on the Asian stock exchanges, Tuesday begins gloomier with several declines.

Despite South Korea reporting that GDP is increasing in the third quarter, Kospi is falling by 1.1 percent.

The Japanese Nikkei 225 index was down 0.2 percent at the lunch closing. The broader Topix index is however minus even more with -0.5 percent.

On the other hand, the Chinese markets in Shanghai and Shenzhen are rising by 0.2 and 0.5 percent, respectively.

The Hong Kong-based Hang Seng is unchanged.
