"When I accepted, the plan was for one season. The fact that it became two says everything about how much the journey has given me. But I have chosen to clear my commitments in order to be able to focus fully on what comes next and I find it difficult to be tied down," Pournouri writes on Instagram.
Ash Pournouri is best known for being Avicii's manager and for sitting on the jury last season along with Anders Bagge, Katia Mosally and Peg Parnevik.
TV4 has not announced who will replace him.
