Asap Rocky is charged with shooting at a childhood friend with whom he had fallen out, in a street corner in Los Angeles four years ago.

The main trial in the case has been ongoing since January and after the long weekend in the USA, it's time for the jury to deliver their verdict on Tuesday – which can take a long time, or the twelve people may quickly agree on their verdict.

The judge in the case handed over the matter to the jury after telling the seven women and five men who have the decision in their hands to disregard the artist's star status and his world-famous girlfriend, artist Rihanna.

Rihanna has been present several times during the trial. The last day, the couple's two small children, RZA, 2 years old, and one-year-old Riot, were also present, something prosecutor John Lewin described as a way to exert undue pressure on the jury.

They brought in two cute kids for the final argument yesterday. They haven't been here before. And then you have to ask yourself why children of that age would show up now, said Lewin.

The maximum penalty for the crime of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is 24 years.

The defense is seeking a full acquittal for Asap Rocky and has claimed that the artist fired warning shots and used a replica, a toy gun.
