This year, women work for free from 4:11 p.m. while men are paid until 5 p.m., according to Lön hela dagen, an association of trade unions and women's organizations.
This means that women on average receive SEK 5,400 less in their wallets each month.
Every year, the network recalculates the wage gap between women and men's wages in working hours where the average wage for a man means getting paid for his entire working day from 8 am to 5 pm. When the network was formed in 2012, women were paid until 3:51 pm.
So there has been an improvement over time, but in recent years, development has stalled.
