”It is with sorrow and longing that we unfortunately must announce that the artist and Gothenburg profile Claes Hake is dead. It is a great loss, but Hake's art and productive life continues”, writes the son Hjalmar Hake in an email to SVT.
Claes Hake was born in Mölndal and educated at Valand's art school. He made, among other things, large monumental sculptures in stone, including ”Södra porten” in Gothenburg, but also sculpted in other materials.
He became 80 years old.
