The villa was subjected to an arson attack during the night. No one was in the villa during the incident and the fire was quickly extinguished by the rescue service.
On Tuesday, the police announced that two young individuals had been detained and, as reported by P4 Skaraborg, they were detained during the afternoon. One of the individuals is 18 years old and the other is younger.
Johan Rexhag, local police chief in Västra Skaraborg, tells the radio that the police do not rule out further arrests.
We definitely see a clear connection between the two incidents, said Morten Gunneng, duty officer in police region west, to TT on Tuesday morning.
The two are also suspected of an explosion that occurred earlier during the night at an apartment in Lidköping.
In connection with the villa in Grästorp, a shooting broke out last week. On Friday, a 16-year-old boy was arrested. He is suspected of having arrived at the villa on the night of May 27 and fired several shots.
One of the residents of the house, who holds a licensed weapon, responded by shooting the boy in the leg.
The police are now investigating the connections between the two attacks on the villa in Grästorp and the explosion in nearby Lidköping.
