The new single "Midsummer" is about how Duplantis met his wife Desirée Duplantis, according to a press release.
The song came about after Duplantis' first loss in three years, at Stockholm Stadium. He ended up in the studio afterwards and recorded "Midsummer". The new single "is not only about the best holiday there is, but is also a tribute to the day I met my current wife," says Armand Duplantis, according to the press release.
Armand and Desirée Duplantis held their wedding party this past weekend in France.
