International travel increased by just over 3 percent to 2.1 million travellers, surpassing the previous record from August 2018 by approximately 16,000.
Arlanda had a total of just over 2.4 million passengers in August. Travel increased by 2 percent compared with the same month last year. However, domestic travel at the airport decreased by 4 percent to just over 324,000 passengers.
A total of just over 3.3 million passengers travelled via Swedavia's ten airports in August, which is also an increase of 3 percent compared with the same month in 2025.
"The increase was driven by more visitors to Sweden and increased demand in Sweden," writes Swedavia.
