Demand for international travel from Swedavia's ten Swedish airports continued to increase in July, according to recent flight statistics. At the same time, domestic travel decreased due to lower supply.
Total travel at Sweden's largest airport, Arlanda, increased by just over 1 percent compared with the same month last year. The airport had just under 2.5 million travellers in July.
A total of just over 3.3 million passengers travelled through the ten airports during July. This is an increase of almost 2 percent compared with July 2025.
"Developments in the outside world, not least the situation in the Middle East, mean continued uncertainty ahead of the autumn," Swedavia writes in a press release.
