We have just left and completed the rescue operation at 17.00. The car is cleared and stands in a place in the forest and all forces are on their way from there, says Lena Hoffman, leadership operator at the rescue service.
The operation has gone well and no one has come to harm, according to Lena Hoffman. What the leak is due to is not clarified.
The rescue service received the alarm about the leaking truck at 14 o'clock and was on site with personnel from four fire stations. They checked the leak if the gas would catch fire, and an area with a radius of 100 meters around the truck was blocked off.
The truck was standing inside the terminal area near terminal 5, which resulted in the so-called pier F being evacuated and the departures from there being delayed, announced Swedavia, which operates the airport.
Shortly after 17 o'clock, the affected air traffic could be resumed. The rest of the air traffic continued as usual during the rescue operation.
