The performance opens with the 90-minute documentary film “Sing for me Arja!” directed by Marko Talli. The film depicts Saijonmaa’s life and her long-standing friendship with the Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis.
Saijonmaa then takes to the stage for a one-hour concert with Swedish and Finnish musicians and two Greek bouzouki virtuosos.
